Raoul trouvait que Basile manquait de coffre aussi j’en ai généreusement ajouté un à son intention à l’arrière de la Léomobile…\u003cbr\u003e- Il semble néanmoins très essoufflé, non ?\u003cbr\u003e- Allons, allons,... Il a surtout la langue bien pendue !\u003cbr\u003e- Soit. Mais parlez nous alors un peu de votre nouvelle trouvaille…\u003cbr\u003e- Et bien tout d’abord, j’en ai confié le dessin général à un jeune dessinateur, Turk. L’idée de la théière à vapeur vient de lui, de même que l’échauguette, très pratique il faut bien le dire, malgré un pare-brise non étanche. Quant à la question de l’énergie, rien de mieux que des pieds, des mains, et un peu d'huile de coude…\u003cbr\u003e- La vitesse ne vous effraie-t-elle pas ?\u003cbr\u003e- Dans la montée, non !... La MG, apparue en 1936, a connu 6 versions successives en une vingtaine d’années, passant du type A au type F. Le modèle chéri par Clifton est la version D, la plus fameuse, commercialisée tant en Angleterre qu’aux USA dès 1950.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64);\"\u003eAttardons-nous sur les caractéristiques de cette belle Anglaise. Sa carrosserie, avec des phares ronds encadrant une haute calandre et des ailes dotées de marchepieds, rappelle ses origines d’avant-guerre. Grace à une capote repliable, Clifton peut apprécier à sa juste valeur le paysage tant rural qu’urbain de Puddington.
